Members AreaAquatic Obsessions hosts several dive clubs for divers of all interest levels and ages.
The AO Dive Club is open to everyone, free of charge. We currently meet the 1st Thursday of every month at Ferg’s Sports Bar downtown on Central Ave and 13th St., across from the St. Pete Police Station. We offer complimentary beverages and a snack to everyone in our own private party room! It’s a great time, including guest speakers, door prizes, and continuing diver education. This is a great chance to keep abreast of what’s going on in your local diving community. Come down and join us, we’d love to have you!
The Tampa Bay Spearfishing Club was founded by owner Bill Hardman. This is an invitation only spearfishermen’s club, with meetings twice a month. This club hosts the Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge every April, one of the largest spearing competitions in the USA.
The Salty Sea Wenches are the sister club to the TBSC. This women diver’s club supports a variety of interests including spearfishing, photography, and community involvement. The Wenches actively volunteer at local diving events and help to support local charities.
