Underwater Hunter Course
Sign up for this class and you will learn all the basics and some advanced methods and techniques in underwater hunting. This class is a great way to gain years of valuable spearfishing knowledge without having to suffer some of the pain and humility of having to learn these lessons on your own. There is nothing better than providing yourself with fresh seafood & the Gulf of Mexico is loaded with tasty seafood. Learn the design & use of all spearguns & accessories Learn fish identity, shot placement & retrieval tactics. Learn how to set up your own equipment Learn the laws & how to be an ethical spearfisher. When you complete this course, not only will you gain many years of spearfishing experience in short order, but you will receive your U/W Hunter Scuba Specialty Certification.
NITROX COURSE
Increased safety from DCS Less post dive fatigue Longer bottom time Shorter surface interval Cost productive (more dive time) We’ve been teaching Nitrox longer than any other Pinellas County Scuba Training Facility! We also offer a Technical Training Program that goes from Basic Nitrox through Trimix.
Underwater PHOTO CLASS
Sign up for this class and you will learn the basics and some advance methods and techniques in camera use and photo style. This is the basic U/W Photo class and a great place to start your journey into the magnificent world of underwater photography. The course includes: Disc, Parallax, SLR film and Digital camera function & use. Exposure (F-stop, shutter speed) uses. Artificial light systems and specialty filters. Underwater photographic techniques, styles & considerations. Rules of composition and developing the photographic eye. When you complete this course, you will earn your U/W Photography Scuba Specialty Certification Card.
Wreck Diving Course
Wanna dive the cool wrecks in a safe and fun manner? Learn to navigate in and around big wrecks. There is a definite danger to those who explore a shipwreck without the proven proper training. Our wreck diving Instructors will be glad to teach you the safe and secure way to involve great shipwrecks in your scuba diving experience. As well as learning how to do this safely, all successful graduates of this program will receive their Wreck Diver Scuba Specialty Certification. -Advanced OW Cert. Required for this course. -Wreck Diving Reel is required. Wait until class to purchase the reel. -Dive Fees are not included.

MEDIC FIRST AID & CPR COURSE
What would you do if someone passed out in front of you, received a serious injury, or if a fellow diver needed to be helicopter evacuated because of a boating or dive injury? If you are trained in First Aid & CPR you could help them. You’re most likely to use your first aid skills to come to the aid of someone you know—a family member, friend or dive buddy. This is a great class! We do an excellent job preparing divers for the unexpected. This course is also a mandatory pre-requisite for all Dive Supervisors & Dive Masters. The program is taught through the American Heart Association. When you successfully complete these courses you will receive certification in that course. IF YOU DO DIVE WITH OTHERS, THIS CLASS IS A LIFE SAVER!
